Conditions

Wellness suggestions can reflect what you log.

Ellara takes the conditions you choose seriously. Nutrition, movement, and cycle guidance shift for each one, using the symptoms you actually log. This is wellness context for you to explore. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.

  • Endometriosis

Pain and heavy days get gentler guidance.

Pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, and fatigue can cluster in parts of the cycle. Ellara follows the symptoms you log and softens movement and nutrition ideas when those days are harder.

  • PCOS

Irregular cycles stay part of the picture.

Log cycle variability alongside your symptoms and explore wellness suggestions. Phase estimates do not verify ovulation or fertility.

  • PMS

The week before your period is not treated like any other.

Bloating, mood shifts, and fatigue often show up before bleeding. Ellara lines those logs up with your cycle so the harder window is easier to see, and the tips match it.

  • PMDD

Premenstrual mood is tied to cycle timing.

When mood symptoms are severe before a period, Ellara keeps luteal days in context. How you feel is read alongside cycle timing, not as a random week.

  • None

You can skip a condition and still get guidance.

Choosing None keeps cycle, symptom, meal, and movement tracking general. You can add a condition later, and the advice updates with it.

One app. Does it all.

Stop juggling three apps to take care of one body.

Food, fitness, and cycle tracking belong together—your hormones affect how you eat, move, and feel. Ellara brings it all into one place, for a price that beats paying for separate subscriptions.

Coming to Plus

A helper that stays on your phone.

Plus members will be able to ask questions about their cycle, meals, and movement and get answers drawn from Ellara's own guidance. That helper lives inside the app. It does not send what you type to ChatGPT, Grok, or any other chat company. It does not run on a giant shared computer nor data center somewhere else, and what you ask is not sold or folded into someone else's system.

Recipe search and creation are coming soon. Personalized workout plan generation is also coming soon, with plans built around your goals, your schedule, and how you like to move.

The story behind Ellara

About the owner

I'm a software developer with an education in Health Information Technology, a veteran, and a former personal trainer. That mix of technical work, health-data training, and women's hormone health experience is what I bring to Ellara.

My passion for this work is personal. I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis at 19. That experience sparked a lasting desire to better understand women's health and to help other women feel more informed and supported in their own journeys.

I take pride in the level of data security and privacy I build into Ellara, especially around health data. Your information is yours. I refuse to sell it—now or ever.

Ellara brings together my background in software, health information, fitness, hormone health, and lived experience. I want to share that knowledge with all women, helping them learn about their bodies and find an approach to wellness that feels right for them.

Built for women, by women—with understanding at its heart.

Your data

Health data deserves more than a checkbox.

Cycle, symptom, condition, pregnancy, nutrition, and movement records are some of the most personal information you can keep on a phone. Ellara is built so that data exists to help you understand your body—not to become a product we sell. A legal or full name is not required, and Ellara does not store your date of birth.

Why this matters

Reproductive and wellness data has been mishandled by too many apps. It can reveal fertility, pregnancy, pain, and daily health patterns. That is not advertising inventory.

My education in Health Information Technology is about confidentiality, collecting only what is needed, and giving people control over their records. I hold Ellara to that standard because I would not put my own health history in an app that treated it as a commodity.

Trust is part of the product. If you cannot be sure your logs stay yours, the rest of the app does not matter.

How Ellara protects it

  • Your account, your records. Cycle, symptom, condition, pregnancy, nutrition, and workout logs are stored with your signed-in account. Database rules limit every read and write to that account. A display name is optional. Ellara does not ask for or save your date of birth.
  • Protected on the phone and on the way to the server. The iOS and Android apps keep your sign-in session in the device keychain or keystore. Traffic uses HTTPS. Your records sit in an encrypted database.
  • Health sync is optional and granular. Apple Health and Health Connect stay off until you choose what to share—daily steps, workouts into Ellara, or workouts out of Ellara. Each option is a separate control, and turning one off stops that sync without deleting logs you already have.
  • Guidance is computed, then discarded. Symptom, cycle, and fitness details sent to build nutrition and movement guidance are used for that response only. They are not saved as a profile, advertising audience, or training set. Ellara does not sell personal or health information.
  • You can delete it yourself. Delete individual entries in the app, or delete the whole account from Settings → Account → Delete account. That removes the account and the health records stored with it.

Read the Privacy Policy or learn how to request data deletion.

Built for Developers

The content API serves foods, exercises, and education. Personal health logs stay in each Ellara account and are not available through that API.
